England captain Harry Kane has joined German champions Bayern Munich on a four-year deal, Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed.

The move brings to an end Kane's 19-year stay at Tottenham, where he has become one of the most prolific goalscorers in the club's history.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham for several months, with Bayern Munich and Manchester City both reportedly interested in signing the striker.

However, it is Bayern Munich who have eventually secured the services of the England captain.

Kane will now undergo a medical at Bayern Munich before completing his move to the German club.

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of €100 million.

Kane is expected to make his debut for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga next month.
