Poker Icon Doyle Brunson Passes Away at 89
Legendary Player and Cowboy Hat Enthusiast Leaves Unrivaled Legacy

Poker legend Doyle Brunson, known to fans as "Texas Dolly," has passed away at the age of 89. His death was confirmed by his daughter-in-law, Anjela Brunson.
Brunson's legacy in the poker world is unmatched. He won 10 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, including two Main Event titles in 1976 and 1977. He was also a member of the inaugural Poker Hall of Fame class in 1979.
"Doyle was the greatest poker player of all time," said fellow poker legend Phil Hellmuth. "He revolutionized the game and inspired generations of players."
Brunson was known for his aggressive style of play and his trademark cowboy hat. He was a fixture at the poker tables in Las Vegas for decades, and his presence will be deeply missed.
