Jill Tracy Jacobs Biden, born June 3, 1951, is an American educator who has served as the First Lady of the United States since 2021. She is married to President Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States.
As First Lady, Jill Biden is a tireless advocate for education, military families, and cancer research. She holds a Doctorate of Education and has taught English and writing at Northern Virginia Community College for over 20 years.
Before becoming First Lady, Jill Biden was Second Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017, when her husband served as Vice President under President Barack Obama. She has also authored several books, including her memoir, "Where the Light Enters."
